March 2000
24-28 Mar 2000  Site 85  About 2 hour NW of Houston
This is the trip that started it all, or should we say restarted it. Our son Tyron was in between Atlantic and Pacific Fleet transfer and spent some time with us before he left for Japan. We put this trip together and tented it. We camped a lot when the kids were young but had lost interest due to schedule. After this trip, Rhonda and I agreed to make camping a part of our life again. It didnt take long for us to discover the Shelters. After 2 times in those, in the winter, we decided we would invest in a Pop Up instead of rolls of plastic, duct tape and staples. After 9 months of looking, we found our Pop Up. From that point on, the rest is history. We have put together a collection of places we have been along with some photos so we can share our experiences with friends and family. Any of the family are welcome to join us, we would love to have you with us. Who knows, you may get hooked too.
